Basta Nykvarn
This facility is Basta’s first and biggest. It is situated about 50 km south of Stockholm. The facility covers 80 hectares of land and includes several buildings that accommodate around 70 residents. The natural environment is classic for this region with forests and meadows that border the two lakes Vällingen and Yngern. The closeness to the lakes makes it possible in your spare time to have a swim or go fishing. Here you can also find a gym, a sauna, and a room for billiards. At Basta in Nykvarn there is a warm community feeling where you plan your spare time by yourself, but there is some traditional activities at Christmas, New Year’s, and Easter.
Examples of work sites at Basta in Nykvarn are gardening and management of green areas, graffiti removal, construction, carpentry, horse stables, a dog hostel, working in the kitchen, or being part of running a bed and breakfast.
